Describe a Model for Incorporating Accessibility in Virtual Reality Technologies – Metaverso case study.
Virtual reality technologies such as the metaverse are being used more and more, but the observance of accessibility for users still leaves much to be desired, in this study, it is intended to propose a model to incorporate accessibility in the development of virtual reality technologies , specifically in interactive environments such as the metaverse . Users with special needs should not be excluded from the metaverse and should have equitable access to it. Using the Design Science Research (DSR) methodology will allow you to analyze the research already carried out, identify gaps and design the artifact to achieve the goal. Online tests with user participation will be carried out to understand whether the proposed model made virtual reality technology more equitable.
