Ultimately, you will need to come up with an arguable question. As you read about different issues, begin to look for potential questions.
For the proposal, however, I simply want you to identify a global issue that you would like to explore for the paper. The proposal should include a brief description of the issue you want to address as well as why you chose this particular topic. The issue that you choose to address must fall under the category of a “global issue.” The length of the proposal is one-page maximum, double-spaced. Various organizations under the umbrellas of the United Nations can be valuable resources. NGOs websites may also be good sources of information depending on the topic.
