Topic: By selecting one of the international businesses in the world, the assignment should address the questions listed below:
How and when did the firm start its operations?
What is the product /service?
How does the firm keep its market share?
What are the socio-cultural and financial forces that the firm focuses on in the host countries?
What are the features of global strategic planning process of this firm?
Does the firm adopt market screening? How is it used?
What is the business strategy preferred by the firm?
What are the import and export practices of the firm?
What are the principles of global supply chain management for this firm?
What are the characteristics of political economy in the host countries for this firm?
Discuss the membership of host countries by considering the economic blocks in the world. What are the reasons for selecting these countries?
Guidelines:
1) The first page is the title page and it should include the following information:
• The title of the project
• The name(s) and student number(s) of the student(s) who prepared the project
• The course and the name of the instructor
• The date it is handed in
2) The project should follow the classical format such as;
• introduction ( the explanation of the topic and how it is dealt with)
• main discussion (you can have sub-headings here)
• conclusion(s) and suggestions
• references
3) The project should be around 10 pages for each person, 1,5 line spacing and 12 points for letters.
4) References in the text should be;
♦ if you use exactly same sentence, it should be in quotations, such as “regional integration….” (Aker, 2010, pp: 210)
♦ if you use somebody else’s idea and wrote it in your own words like; sule aker said… (Aker, 2010)
5) Deadline for the project is 12 June, 2023.
6) References at the end of the text should be:
